3 wheeled vehicles on the islands.

GuestPoster566

A friend of mine has imported a Tuk Tuk, repaired the engine and renovated it. (Certainly gave the authorities a bit of a headache.)
He thinks there may be at one more on Gozo. Anyone know if it's true or know of any other similar 3 wheeled type vehicles on the islands?
Not including the rotavator carriages though.:)

Not Gozo, but Malta. I saw some 3 or 4 Piaggio Ape ... and I see the yellow Robin (not sure if it's the same) every time I pass the petrol station in Tal-Barrani / Tarxien :)

Toon

the one in tal baranni is owned by a shop called trotters independant traders who has contacts with Argos in uk - they get customers to place orders and they collect.

Redmik. Hope you are feeling better and are ready for a ride! Mine is a genuine Indian Bajaj Autorickshaw (Indian taxi). If there are any other owners of 3 wheeled vehicles (tuk tuks, Apes, Reliants, motorbike and sidecar etc) we could form a club. Weekend fun runs would be a laugh! Drop me a line if you are interested. "The Three Wheels On My Wagon Club" perhaps!

Off to Mater Dei for some NDT today and then may need your amazing Swedish mechanics to regrind and reseat some of my valves before I can do anything. However, when I get my airworthiness certificate back then you know I would give a lot to be able to travel in her. Could also pull up a couple of sandbags and swing the Tilley lamp :-)
