Practicing American RN-BSN in Malta

Does anyone know what are the requirements to transferring my license over to work as a RN in Malta?
My French husband has been relocated here and his company will be providing me with a resident visa but not a working permit.
I tried contacting the International Council of Nursing in Malta but no one picks up :/
Any tips would be greatly appreciated !

Hi Renee,

with a French husband you are the family member of an EU citizen and do not need a work permit in Malta once you are registered as a resident.

You will have to register as a nurse in Malta and have your certificates evaluated and approved聽 as Nurse is a regulated profession.



It will take some time as the Committee only sit a few times per year to process applications.
