Almost 3 years....

robpw2

This April will see the 3 year Anniversary of the first time I ever visited Malta ... if you told me as I was planning my wedding that 2 months later i would be moving to the country to live and three years later I would still be living there - I would have laughed at you.

Why? Because I was stuck in a rut - i was sick but had no diagnosis and because i had my benefits stopped and had been living off my husbands wage and we literally made it through week to week on very little.

Well 3 years on  We are now both working , I have an official diagnosis which means  I can better see my limitations (althought not always good at this ) and i live on a stunning island by the sea.

Its not without its own unique set of challenges .. i have had a friend die , a lot of people i regard as friends move back to their respective countries ... a business that has all but nosedived.

However I am incredibly happy and I dont regret my choice to move to Malta and thought i have been away from this group for sometime as a poster - i still want to make people aware that for all its faults and issues its a great country to come and live and you should take the oppurtunity whilst you can - as you never know what might happen.

I wont sugarcoat things but i am not mr doom and gloom either - anyone want to ask anything feel free to pm - i will get round to answering them .

Anyway
