Learning Maltese

Toon

For those who are interested most councils do a "learning maltese for the foreigner" course...it usually runs from october to may two lessons per week - each lesson about 90minutes and costs approx 30-40 euros per person....once you do the first course you can then go onto do the intermediate course and so on.

and thats € 30-40 for the whole course, not per lesson - a real bargain

Toon

absolutely - - thanks george for clarifying that i had missed that bit.

mikea

are the lessons held locally within each council region or centrally somewhere?

Mike

depends on the demand - in Gozo I there are several places they are held, but not every single council

Toon

am only guessing but i would think most major councils will do them, mellieha and st pauls definitly do them

This is a really good new. I didn't know that. Thanks for sharing.
I also heard from other languages classes (english included) somewhere in Floriana, about this same price, is that true?

thanks
