@Ayobami F. Adelakun I applied for skilled worker visa from abroad in mid-November and received approval on December 31st. I am non EU citizen.

there is no skilled worker visa for EU/EEA citizens- they can just register if they get a job with a Norwegian employer.

Hi, I have a similar question. I am a non-EU citizent and have been living in Norway for 3,5 years (I was a Masters student at Ntnu for 2,5 years, 1 year as a job seeker). I got accepted for another Master’s program at UiB but UDI refused to give me visa for this program. That’s why I have to go home in February, 2023.

My current employer wants me to stay and work for him. He said he will send me an invitation to work for him as an ethnic cook. I will go home and study to take the diploma and apply for visa as a skilled worker to come to Norway again.

Has anyone gone through the same process? Or has anyone applied for visa as an ethnic cook? Could you please share your experiences?

hi did you received your Visa yet? My employer also applied for skilled worker visa in November last week, still haven't received any info.

I will be in Bergen on 05.05. to apply for a skilled worker residence permit.

I am in possession of stay Schengen already
