Hi
My self Dr.Rajesh Patel. I am an Indian and planing to sift with my wife and child to Krakow for my post doctoral training. Before arrival I want to know about house rant and other living cost including food.

Hey Mr. Patel,
Assuming that you may have spent time in any of the Indian Metros i can tell u its as cheap as any of them (or expensive) depending on ur spending patterns...

To be honest housing is your only major expense. you will manage to find a house for abt 2,500 PLN (abt 36000 INR) for a very good house in the city... and it could be cheaper. the city is well connected and you will find it cheaper in every other aspect...:P

Milk is 2 PLN (INR 30 per Litre)
Water is 1.6 PLN (5 Lts)
Beer is 2 PLN (.5 Ltr)
Rice Basmati (10 PLN per KG, Tesco)
chicken (7 PLN per KG, around 100 INR sometimes)

Well that is comparable to indian prices isnt it?
