Hi Emilie,
there is a 2-rooms flat just renovated in the very heart of the city for 400-450 EUR. Ideal price if 2 flatmates:

This is more or less the price range for a good flat of 40-60m2.
For studios, more like 300-350EUR.
Warning if you find flats with low price, flat (or building) standards are not like in the Western Europe.

300 E would get you a 1-bedroom ( 2 rooms ) in Tineretului ( or somewhere arround Unirii ) , if you are ready to pay in advance for 3-4 months ( which you should do, actually ). Sorry for getting SO personal, but aren't you supposed to have a Romanian boyfriend who should take care of this?
