Hello everyone,

Finding affordable housing in Spain is number one priority for newcomers. Tell us more about the estate market in your district/city/region.

What are the most desired places to live? What are the most affordable ones? What is the average cost of a rented flat? And what is the average sale price for an appartment or a house? Could you tell us more about local real estate policies/procedures? What about property tax or residency tax in Spain?

What about you? Where do you live now? Is it a place you would recommend?

Hi Priscilla.聽聽 Depends where you want to live.聽聽My wife and I came out on 1 Sept and got a nice 2 bedroom apartment near Orihuela for 400 euros a month plus utilities.聽聽聽Patrick

i would be very much interested in the various regions,the reason the inhabitants chose to live there along of course with relative perceived value . Also please point out negatives if any that were not obvious upon first settlement in the region . My wife and i would love to move to spain and this type of information we feel is invaluable . thank you Bruce& francine
