I will be renting somewhere long term in the city centre. I will be bringing my laptop to do my work. But it is important that I have a good internet connection - fast, wireless Broadband like I have here in London.

Is this an unrealistic expectation?

In most city centres you should be fine - many rented apartments now advertise wi-fi included as most people these days expect internet connection!

Thanks for your reply. I'm coming over to have a look around in early March, so i'll check out the scene then... Barcelona should be one of the most technically advanced cities, no?!?!
