Cost of living in Barcelona - 33k possible?

I am looking into the cost of living in Barcelona Is it possible to live in Barcelona on 33k Euros/year before taxes? We are 2 adults, 1 dog, and ideally, would like to have a baby. We are relatively frugal folks but do occasionally like to go out for dinner or other entertainment.

Hi,

I am from Barcelona. I think you can make it. There are rentals from 700 聙 / month (8.400 聙 / year) and the food from the supermarket isn't expensive ("Mercadona" chain is the best option price/quality). To move around, the best is a motorbike but a bicycle is good too.
