I've lived in Barcelona for a year now and find it quite hard to meet new friends.  It's not so easy as a single woman, I find.

There's a potential get together of ex-pats on the 28th, no firm details yet.  I'm a bit nervous about going but maybe you should come too.

There are a lot of spanish people which I have met in that way (so that i can practice my spanish :-P)and they became good friends too!

I have lived here for almost 5 years now. Over these last years I have experienced meeting new friends, followed by them leaving after a while, and it feels like I am the only one staying! (Mostly foreign friends, I have found it quite hard to get local girl friends here)

I live with my boyfriend and have no plans of leaving the city
