How those Spanish keep an appointment? I mean culture or custom

Jstzjgsc

Culturally, how that Spanish keep an appointment?
How to suggest an appointment and how to refuse? How to invite someone and how to pick a time, place, etc?  How to prepare for an appointment? What will the guest do when he meets the host and what the host will do?
And is there any difference when on different occasions? (Friends, neighbors, colleagues, meeting your boss or your supervisor, etc)
Is there any article to introduce these?
Thank you.

Spanish people are very straightforward. No one will feel pressed if you ask for an appointment, if they are interested, they will say yes, if not, maybe to be polite, they will give you some indication that it will be in the future, vaguely.
Here it doesn¡t exists "dates" as a thing, if you feel to invite someone to dinner, do it!
Don't expect to be invited to homes, social life is in the streets, bars, cafes and restaurants.
