How long does it take if you have all requirements

I got married recently.. To my Swedish husband.. Here in my country we have legalised our marriage by getting stamps at the foregn affairs offices.(they call it Notary) that means our marriage is legal also my husband when he went back to Sweden he took our documents to the tax office in Sweden to get aprooved...he received aproval now we want to do online application.. And wait for the email from the embassy.. My question is how do we do the application do I need to apply by myself or him for me..we are both new to this..which is the best..and since we have done all that do I have a chance of getting an answer soon..because I have travelled two times maybe also if they I see that it will easy the process.. I read the stories here I got so disappointed.. I just hope for the best and I will be positive about this and pray for this..if I wasn't denied schengen visa two times I know too I won't be denied too and patience pays that's the spirit I have..
