University of Bahrain hiring process suspended

I applied last January for a teaching post at UOB and didn't hear from them till today. They sent a mail declaring that the hiring process has been suspended temporarily and will notify us when it's resumed.

Can anyone advise whether this means they suspended it for this academic year or it happens for few months and they might resume?

There are tons of topics about UOB.聽 Even when things are normal, they are very very very slow.聽 So I wouldn't hold your breath for a positive outcome re: time.

@Mahmoud Mohamed39 just applicants so far as email is sent from the university not the college or department.Did you get any info whether it can be resumed this year or it means hiring process is cancelled for this year?
