Bahrain visa enquiries

Ademorla71

Hi there, good morning I worked for 18month as a security but I have now resigned and cancelled my visa. Do I need mobility to be open for me to apply for flexy visa or just cancellation will do. My company said they can't open mobility because they've cancelled so mobility is juts for visa transfer.  Can anyone help clarify things please.

The concept of flexi visa does not exisit anymore, mobility can be applied when visa is valid. From the date of visa cancellation you have 30days to find a new employer or exit the country.

Good luck.

@logicalindian Flexy visa has been brought back to the system in bahrain and available for exparts. I just want to be sure if mobility applies to cancel visa also or just it just apply to visa transfer.

Can you kindly share an offical link from LMRA website to prove this?

1) There is no mobility if visa is cancelled.  Mobility only exists for valid visas

2) The flexi-visa system has been disbanded.  What you are referring to is the registered workers program which replaced flexi-visa.  But it is VERY different from the flexi visa system.  For one thing, you DON'T apply for a visa - a labor registration center does it on your behalf.  It costs more and the requirements are more stringent

@XTang it actually costs less than the Flexi system of before.

@Ademorla71 mobility does not apply. As long as your visa is cancelled and the Eligibility criteria says you are eligible to apply through registration centers it means you qualify to apply for Registered Worker.

Thanks.  I saw the new fees but didn't remember the flex-visa fees from before.
