I would also give you a heads up that Medical and Schooling are on a costlier side in Bahrain and most of the companies do offer it as a part of the annual package, you should consider this.

No one but you can tell you what you need to make to have the living situation you want - we can't know what you spend or what quality of life you are going to pay for while you are here.  Look at the costs and decide how you wish to negotiate your salary and benefits - especially schooling since that is apparently not covered by your offer.  Hopefully you find what you are looking for!

I am not sure if anyone will be able to give you the exacts, but its on the higher side. Just for example an appointment with a GP would be about 8-10 BD approx (per visit) plus the meds.

What About medical insurance? If i do buy it, it covers normally the GP appointment and med. just wanted to have an idea on the cost of medical insurance.
