young family relocating to bahrain

xhrtx21

hello :) ,

We my wife, and 1yo are joining me in bahrain, and we would like to know which area is child friendy, i.e secure, with parks or places with play areas within close proximity, that also will have fairly priced housing. Say 150- 200 BD.

we would also like to know what are some of the things you think we would need to consider during this move.

Thanks

H

In these areas you can find flats of your budget. These areas are family friendly and you can find small parks nearby easily.

If you need to ask anything else, feel free to DM me.

We have had many threads of these topics so I would suggest to use search to prepare yourself properly.

I think the most important question is:  Where is your place of work and where will the kid go to school (Nursery eventually)?    that will determine the area that you need to choose to live in.   Ideally, you need to be closer to the kids school vs. the work place.  So you don't waste time in pick and drops.

The second question is around your lifestyle and budget.  Are you an apartment or villa person?   do you want to be near or facing the sea?

Depending on the answers to those two questions, people can recommend options to you.

The options given above, while family friendly, are not ideal for white collar °µÍø½ûÇøs (and western °µÍø½ûÇøs).  For example, instead of Budaiya / Hamad Town, people choose Saar or Hamala (St.Chris and BSB schools plus large °µÍø½ûÇø community).  Instead of wider Riffa, people go for Riffa views (RVIS school. Villas and in the range of 800 BD+ per month).
