My CR is inactive

jahangitbutt
Hi dear, at the moment I’m out of Bahrain due to some contruction at my home country, my Bahrain residence permit (RP) will be expire 9th June 2022. And I’m planing to travel back to Bahrain 7th of June 2022.

My CR is expired since 21 April 2022.

And I decide to renew once I’m in Bahrain . My Question is can I travel in this situation?

Dear,

You cannot renew the residence until you renew the cr. The Immigration Officer can deny or allow you to inform that your CR is deleted by Law.

You should renew the cr before travel if there is an offence in the cr, this is clearly your fault. You know very well that cr is going to expire.

Hi.

If you are entering Bahrain under valid visa there shall be no issue at all for imigration.

Cr fines and other things wil come up is other story. But if you enter on expire visa is compete there story.

Please note that the residency is sponsored by commercial registration. If the commercial registration is not active legally - There is no sponsor. Immigration can always deny entry.

There are various cases in Bahrain where Visit Visa was issued and it is valid but denied entry because the sponsor cr had some issues.

So always travel at your own risk.

Your CR expired in April.   You are travelling in June.   You can either take the risk and hope immigration lets you in even if CR is deleted by law.  Or just renew the CR - unless there is an offence on the CR, I don't see what the issue is.

For the other poster, your visa in Bahrain exists because of a sponsor.  If that sponsor (or CR) doesn't exist legally anymore, neither does your visa - irrespective of what it says on the sticker on your passport.

Generally i dont think it can be an issue.

But its better to renew it before you arrive in Bahrain, sometimes it can create an issue at the Immigration.
