Dependent Fees reimbursement after changing the employer in Bahrain

faengr

AssalamoAlikum. Hi, I have my family here and their visa expired due to my previous employer terminated my contract. However, I got new visa from another employer and planning to get my family residence permit from new employer but this employer may not continue with me for long time. So I need to know, if I pay my family residence permit 90 BD fees now and change my employer later. Is the remaining period fees will be reimburse-able ? For e.g. if I got their residence permit in Jan, 2021 and after 6 months change visa to another employer in June 2021, so after 6 month I will apply again for residence permit, is remaining 45 BD per each family member  be reimbursed to my previous employer LMRA EMS account ?

The reimbursement is in the form of a credit to the employer and is the unutilized work permit and healthcare fees on the primary work permit.  Dependent visas don't have the healthcare fees and don't get refunds.

Lastly, the fee for dependent permit is not supposed to be paid by you in any event.  If you do this arrangement with the employer, be aware that you have NO legal right to get back the fees from him when he gets a refund.
