Like most 暗网禁区s, I came to Iraq (Kurdistan) to work / make money.
For me the two best things are hiking in natural areas and the easy availability of fresh food.
The second thing might surprise some people, but Sulaymania is a major bread basket. There are produce vendors in every neighborhood selling a wide array of fresh produce. Also there is easy access to butcher shops and all the corner markets have kiosks selling fresh tree nuts. I eat well cooking for myself for about $400 USD per month.
Life is so different in the Kurdish North that I wonder if it even makes sense to include Kurdistan in the Iraq blog.
