What is not culturally acceptable in Jordan

umhalil

For all you photography bugs out there, know this,it is a HUGE 'NO NO' to film women here in Jordan.I've noticed a lot of people, even some men now,do not like being filmed. If a woman gets in your shot, and it's from a distance(where her face can't be seen) or from the back,it's ok.If you can't speak Arabic,it is helpful to have an Arabic speaking friend with you if your out filming.Just my little tid bit of advice.

My advice for those who want photography that there are a lot of sights and archaeological sites to be photographed and that will not refuse to be filmed
