Secure accommodation: villa or apartment

My husband and I are moving to Kuwait. We are wanting very secure accommodation and would like to know if a villa or an apartment is the most secure.

there are apartments secured as well, and most of the places here rentals are buildings apartment, for villas usually there is no guard on the main door only the drivers, or caretakers but not all the time around unlike in the buildings there are guards and and attendants usually 24/7

Maybe it will help if I say that I never felt a need here to have a guard or security present in order to feel safe. Do you have one back home?

Not that I know of. There are apartment compounds available... such things are not common here unlike in other gulf countries.
