Working Visa for Female Professionals

Is there a new policy or regulations that the Omani Minister of Manpower decided to stop the issuance of working visa to female professionals?

Kindly advise.

I am a Civil Engineer by profession, been working for more than 20 years, currently working for US Embassy- here in Kabul, Afghanistan as a QC Manager. I got a job offer with same position,聽 from a renowned International construction and Engineering company.

All preliminaries regarding employment has been discussed, concurred聽 and I submitted all required documents for further VISA application. After a week upon submission, they give me a feedback regarding this new rule/policy from the Omani Minister of Manpower, however, they will still get further thru it and if there's an exception to the rule.
