Lecturer Job Through Direct Recruitment of Ministry of Manpower Oman

Dear All,

I am From india searching Lecturer position abroad. A consultant here claims that he will be arranging interviews and get placement if selected as Lecturer in MoM colleges directly through Ministry of Oman without involvement of Agencies like Bahwan cybertek,聽 tati etc. He is also聽 assuring salary of OMR 1100 with furnished accommodation and Furniture allowance of 2000聽 OMR upon reaching there. Is this really possible. Based on my knowledge only Empanelled agency can proceed for recruitment in Oman. Whether direct recruitment is happening?

His stages of recruitment as follows

1. Telephonic or Skype or in person interview
2. Preoffer letter from ministry of Oman if selected
3. Certificate Attestation from MEA & Embassy of Oman
4. Final offer from Ministry of Oman
5. Gamca Medical Test
6. VISA Processing and stamping

Anyone who has knowledge in this please brief. This consultant charges one month salary also.

Hi raqibanwar,

Going through a middleman is always fraught with risks.

More often than not, it will be a money making racket and a scam.

Whatever you do, do not ever hand over your original documents.

Do not ever, ever, ever ... pay any money the agent.

And lastly, until and unless you see the employment visa in your name, and bearing your passport number, do not resign from your current job.
