How much does it cost to rent an apartment or a house in Oman? How about buying an apartment or a house in Oman?. Rent: 180 to 600 OMR, Buy: 35.000 to 80.000 OMR

How much do you pay on average for public transportation (bus, subway, train, tram, taxi)? The public transportation isn't good enough, better to buy or rent a car. To rent basic car (nothing fancy) in an agency cost 180 OMR per month.

How much do you pay for basic food items such as rice, bread, and pasta?
Bread 1.5 OMR, rice 0.8 OMR

What is your monthly budget for groceries? 70 OMR

How much does it cost to see a doctor or health specialist in Oman?
30 OMR

How about buying an apartment or a house in Oman - 180 rial you can get 1 bhk flat for small family but it depends on area , if you are looking anywhere near by airport area then the rent is 200 to 300 rials , if you 30 minutes away then it is more cheaper , i am bachelor and sharing room with 1 person , we individually pay 55 rials rent and 5 rials for wifi

How much do you pay on average for public transportation (bus, subway, train, tram, taxi) - depends on your destination , normal travelling will cost 300 baiza per way and if you take private taxi the 1 to 2 rials

How much do you pay for basic food items such as rice, bread, and pasta -
Rice (5 kg in 3 to 4 rials , depends whihc quality you are taking)
Bread - multigrain bread big packet will come in 300 baiza

How much does it cost to see a doctor or health specialist in Oman - Doctors and hospitals are very expensive here , and those are not good also. Local people also prefer going INDIA if any measure problem is there. Normal charges are 5 to 10 Omani rials just to go and do check up in hospital

How much do you pay for your internet and phone subscription - The most expensive thing here is internet,  In mobile if you buy data pack the it will cost you 3 rials for 500 mb, the best option is take home wifi and share in 4  to 5 people

How much do you pay on average for public transportation (bus, subway, train, tram, taxi)? public transportation is not easily available and not accessible in many areas, unless one is living in Main Street. taxi's are easily available price depends on how well u can bargain.

health insurance(AXA Insurance) covers it for me, so I pay the minimal charge roughly 2 OMR per visit, but this also depends on type of doctor as well. for example: GP will cost .500 raise for me where as ENT or eyes will cost me 2.5 OMR.
