Hi Friends,
I am in Muscat on employment visa and have valid US driving license. Can I convert the same in Oman driving license or I need to take exam.

Hi Vitthal,

I think you can go to Oman Automobile Association

They will give you an international driving license to be used in Oman.

Or you can get an omani driving license by replacing your US one. You can do this in Directorate general of Traffic.

Requirements:

- Eye test certified by the optics shops.
- Fill in the replacement request form
- Copy of resident card with original.
- Copy of driving license with original license.
- Certificate showing blood type.
- A full year after the current license is issued.
- To be in valid.
- To be among the countries intended for replacement.
