Hi all,
i attended the interview for teaching professionals聽 this week. it was a good one. Around 55 candidates were called.only 6 selected across all branches.
I am from IT..the interview for me lasted 30 mins.
They ask u to write programs in any programming language u r comfortable with.simple programs and u r expected to explain the logic.
They ask basics of all subjects u have taught as mentioned in ur cv.
It was a great experience. The panel was so well mannered. They made me feel very comfortable and helped me perform really well.
They also test ur skills in handling students.
They look out for confidence, clarity, presentation skills and depth of knowledge.
By God s Grace, i was selected and am hoping to be placed this year.
Last year i didnt have an idea of what to expect, so thought this will be useful for those who plan to attend this week.

In electronics, i heard ppl say they asked expansions of acronyms and filters. Maybe filter programs.

Hi all,
Got a mail today stating my provisional selection for the post of lecturer.
It may take more two months to get the offer letter and MoM approval.
So need to wait till then.
Maximum waiting period till Feb 2020.
They advised not to resign till we get visa.
After offer letter is given, it may take 30-45 days to land in Oman on employment visa.
After getting offer letter, and when we accept, certificates have to be apostilled and after we land in Oman there will b online verification of certificates to check genuinity, since last year there was聽 a serious crackdown on fake certificates.
So it seems to be a lengthy process..
We just have to put our trust in God and wait!

Hello gracearun. I am very thankful for the information you have given us. Ive been following your posts here in the forum. I, too, was selected as a Lab Technician/Instructor last July 29. I am earnestly hoping and patiently waiting that all will be well regarding my application.
