Hi All,

I am a Filipina currently in a relationship with an Omani Man. We are both in our early 30's and both are single (never been married). We are now talking about marriage and he just asked permission to his parents. Thankfully, there's no rejection but he came to know through his father that marrying non omani or non-gcc is prohibited as per Oman law.

Now, i have checked聽 all the requirements online so we can get the approval from authorized ministry but seemingly, we do not meet the requirements.

Does anyone here happen to know any possibilities or way to get the approval from ministry? I am currently working in UAE and with no doubt we both love each other. Can we send a letter of appeal or any thing for them to consider our application?
