Good Book shops or Libraries in Oman

Hi Friends,

Can anyone suggest me some good book shop or a library (don't know how relevant it is to ask about library in an online forum). I asked many but no one could suggest any good one. All I could is the small book sections available in malls. Is that all what is available here?. Please suggest if you know any with address.

There are a few good bookstores here in Oman.

But books in general are are expensive.

I can comment on the scenarios in Muscat.

Go to Qurum City Centre and Muscat City Centre, where you will find 'Borders'. They have a decent collection of new books.

There is a "library" called "House of Prose" in Al Wadi Centre (opposite to Khamis Plaza) in Qurum. There you can buy used books at highly discounted prices. The USP of this place is they will buy back the books that you have read for half-price. So you can return your read books and can buy more. It's a fair deal. And affordable.

Thanks a lot for the details.

The second option seems pretty decent and good. I checked their facebook page, which has good information on location and contact details. I will try to check it today or next weekend. Thanks once again..
