Driving On Visit Visa

Hello All.....I wanna know if a person can drive private car on visit visa as ROP website it is聽 mentioned that yes you can drive on visit visa in oman聽 but its not mentioned about the type of vehicle.you can drive rent vs private....also for how long you can drive on visit visa e.g. if you have renewed visit visa multiple time than you can drive on each one?

聽聽聽 Legally :-) You can drive only a rented vehicle; when on a visit visa and even for that you are supposed to have an international driving license; which is acceptable here in Oman. Not all the international driving licenses from all the countries are acceptable here in Oman.
