Importing 2008 Model car into Oman from UAE

Dear All,

I lives in Salalah, Omab and My brother, who lives in UAE has got a 2008 model Honda CRV in UAE and he already obtained an export certificate and he wants to give this car to me to register in Oman.

But I heard from people that I can not register any imported car older than 7 yrs in Oman, please do let me know if this is a valid condition? Please do let me know of anyother formatlities required to register a car imported from UAE.

Hi Ahamed,

Did you manage to export your car. if so would you please let me know the procedure.

i also like to export a 14 years old car from Dubai to Oman.
