Spinny

I have been visiting Doha and will return to my home in the couple of days.  I am planning to come back here to stay for a few years but I just saw very disturbing sight yesterday.

I saw the arab family shopping at Spinny supermarket and kids were touching and playing with fresh fish!!  I thought the shop keeper would tell them off or usually mother would stop them but she just let them touch, play, poke it, one boy was grabbing squid and throwing around.  I think this is just not normal in other developed countries or even some other countries I lived before!!!  I was going to say something to the mother or shop keeper but my husband told me not to worry because the shop won't do anything, the mother won't do anything or even I might be in trouble!!

Can someone please tell me if this is true that arab kids can do anything they want and no one would tell them off?

Also at the same time, I would like to let you know that it's better NOT to buy any fresh fish from Spinny.

I am so amazed that those kids can just play with shop products and no one tell them off!!!

I totally agree with you, there are some spoiled arab kids who do whatever without any control and actually its not their fault its their parents fault, but not all arab kids are like that.

Also you can find the same situation with european kids when the parents are shitty and they donÂ’t care.

We'll I'm surprised that even shopkeeper couldn't tell off. Yes I saw some spoiled European or Asian kids but usually if this kind of things happen in some other countries I have been, they would be told off and parents would be also told off.  I think it's not only parents responsibilities but also the society's as well.

And I'm very sure they were Arabs. The mother had Arab dress, son also had Arab dress. They were not speaking English, French . Spanish or German. Also not Chinese or Japanese. They were not Indians or Africans.

I hope this society will think what they are doing to our future. It's so important to teach kids what's right and wrong...
