Work Visa despite police record?

drmhmd

Hej,
I am just wondering regarding visa och residence permit to work as GP doctor in Qatar. I am a physician, Specialized family doctor. I have submitted all my documents from my Country, Norway. Unfortunately i have police record ( criminal record) which was very private in the family ( committed for assult 2 times against my relative ). Does this mean that my visa going to be rejected directly?.
If the visa is rejected, are they going to tell me about the decision from ministry of interior?
Thanks alot?

The clearance certificate you need obtain from Norway police record, if they give you no criminal charges found then you are good to enter Qatar.
If the assault are/is very much serious offense then your visa might get rejected. If is just a family matter with no criminal charges( seriously not injured etc) then its not counted
