Did u get a solution to this problem? Does an existing tourist e-visa create a problem in apply for family visit visa? If yes then how to cancel the evisa?

Do not seem so. Remember your istiqamah application for a family visa as firstly an authorization. Once you get the authorization, you then need to apply for the visa. So after you complete your medical and documentation requirements,. Only upon submission of your passport do you cancel it. So for example, when I got my e-visa and applied for my work visa. Once I had to submit my passport, the lady handed me a form requesting me to cancel my tourist visa. Another friend skip this entire process; his family is KSA, applied for the visa without handing their passport, exited, and returned with the new visa. So really depends on the consultant or KSA embassy in your home country.
