Dear All, further to my post earlier. My iqama renewal issue was resolved as my company PRO applied theough qiwa to request change of profession from accountant to financial analyst.l which requires no socpa membership. I received on qiwa and approve the request of change of occupation which was instantaneous.

My temporary membership got canceled suddenly before my iqama renewal.

Now both I.e iqama and socpa are expired .my company is willing to change profession but cannot renew iqama unless my socpa is renewed.

I have done 2 years bcom

And MBA with major in banking and finance

@tkk2108 does saudization condition apply on financial analyst profession ?

can I change my profession from accountant to any other profession?? remember, I am a register accountant by SOCPA. please guide

this profession i believe does not fall in saudized occupations as yet. but double check with your hr or someone in hr you know

why you want to change profession of your iqama if you are registered accountant with socpa?

I have BBA also with accounting Subjects:

1- Fundamentals of Accounting   

2-Cost Accounting   

3-Financial Accounting   

4- Managerial Accounting   

5- Auditing

6-Analysis of Financial Statements

Its shows 18 credit hrs. and socpa needs 15 hrs. to change profession. Kindly suggest me regarding change the profession

@Iqbal.khan12 same qualifcation for me what to do now i am just entered in Kingdom and i am BCOM and MBA-Finance but i did bcom as a private candidate so i attested my MBA Degree what should i do now.

Does Pakistani B.COM will accepted in SOCPA?

I think they just consider Bachelor degree. Someone advised  me to visit Socpa office and show them degree. So they will accept to change iqama status.
