Resignation after probation period

Hi. Can an employee resign after 3 months probation period is finish? Does anyone knows? Or are they obliged to pay for a penalty fir breach of contract? Please answer. Thank you

There is no fine to be paid as per the Saudi Labor Law .


the employee and the employer both parties has the right to terminate the contract at anytime if they both agreed on this termination.


but some cases depends on the employer himself. they might ask you to payback all the expenses of the residency transfer , but it鈥檚 not something mentioned in Law.

Actual truth is employer have more power to harass the employee even it was probation period. They will not respond your call or mail once you give notice that i m resigning my position. They will start seek the loop holes that you should complete your contract like etc. The main thing here is the approval for exit. they will no t give you on time for the exit visa.
