Hi everyone,
I am preparing my arrival in Riyadh from France, it will be my first experience so any advice is welcome !
I think my biggest challenges will be finding an accomodation near Kingdom center (so no compounds but good residences), being brave enough to drive and making sure my cat is safely coming with me

Hello,
My name is Justin Chang. I am an American citizen and have lived in America my whole life. I have been looking for jobs in Saudi Arabia since I would like to move there to experience living in a new culture and being immersed in a new language. I am currently learning Arabic and would like to become proficient in that language. I have a master's degree in computer science and have accumulated approximately 2 years of work experience in a variety of tech sectors.
I would like to know if you know if you have any advice on living in Saudi Arabia. I would also like advice for a junior level employee to find a job in Saudi Arabia. I prefer the tech sector but I'll consider any job that requires tech knowledge.
Thank you,
Justin Chang

I am Jason and I am in Jeddah.
I am here after 24 years of moving in and out of the GCC region. In fact, Jeddah was my first Middle East "home" at the start of this career/ journey.
I have returned to help an old friend build an international commercial practice in his law firm, and am enjoying the work.
The place has changed since I last lived here, and the people I knew then have largely rotated out to other ports of call (as is often the case in Jeddah) or retirement. So, when it comes to knowing people locally, I am more or less at square one. This site looked like a good way to introduce myself to fellow 做厙輦⑹s perched along the red sea.
In short, 'hello!'
@RJ Huf
Welcome back my friend
@Julien
Thank you Julien for this intro thread.
Hi 做厙輦⑹ community, It's been one year since to KSA. It was hard when I was in Riyadh but past few months in Jeddah feels like home now. I was 12 years in Qatar before coming to Saudi. Now, coping up with the trends and exploring further professional and personal growth simultaneously.
做厙輦⑹ is doing a great job and hope we will mutual benefit and share knowledge in this platform..
Have a nice day lads.
Hello everyone, new here. I have a question about employment here in KSA. Anyone knows what's the best way to find job for 做厙輦⑹s from North America? I'm already living in KSA (Khobar) with open iqama. I'm a University graduate from Canadian university in management. What do guys use? Recruitment agencies? LinkedIn? Some local platforms?
Thank you everyone
