Premium Residency Saudi - Process to Add Parents

danial786

I applied under the Special Talent Residency Program and received approval in less than 3 months. During the process, I was asked to resubmit the following documents:

  1. Degree (must be attested)

  1. Endorsement Letter (sign and stamp the first page)

I also included my parents in the application. Key takeaways:

  1. You can buy your parents' insurance after PR approval. It’s optional to use the platform’s link at the final stage, and their insurance doesn’t have to be from the same insurer as yours. Parents must remain insured throughout the PR period; failure to do so could result in cancellation of your PR (as per PR website FAQ).

  1. PR for you and your dependents is processed first; your parents’ PR is processed separately.

  1. Parents are added as dependents (not sponsorees).

  1. Parents receive PR cards with 5-year validity.

  1. Parents do not require an Exit/Re-entry visa once they have PR.

Adding My Mother to PR (Previously Sponsored by My Father)

  1. My father, as her sponsor, visited Jawazat (Passport Office) and filled out a form called Taqreer Tanazul (done by agents outside the office).

  1. He went to Maktab Tameed inside Jawazat to attest the form. He carried:

  1. Original Iqama and Passport (both parents)

  1. Copy of my PR

  1. After attestation, I sent the following to the Premium Residency relationship email:

  1. My PR copy

  1. Iqama and Passport copies (both parents)

  1. The attested Taqreer Tanazul form

  1. Adding my mother was free of government fees.

  1. I received her PR card via Saudi Post in 3 weeks.

Adding My Father to PR (Previously Sponsored by a Company)

  1. Obtained a No-Objection Letter from his company, attested by the Chamber of Commerce.

  1. Sent the following to the Premium Residency relationship email:

  1. My PR copy

  1. Iqama and Passport copies (father)

  1. The attested No-Objection Letter

  1. My request was processed in 2 days, after which I was asked to visit Jawazat at the Ministry of Investment in Riyadh (Location: [link under review]).

  1. Paid SAR 2,000 via Sadad as a government fee.

  1. No appointment was needed; I went directly to the Jawazat office. They:

  1. Processed the transfer

  1. Took my father’s original Iqama

  1. Issued a new Iqama (not PR) under my sponsorship

  1. Tip: Visit early morning, as work stops after 12 PM.

  1. Sent the following to the Premium Residency relationship email:

  1. My PR copy

  1. Iqama and Passport copies (father)

  1. Request for a PR card for my father

  1. Received his PR card via Saudi Post in 4 weeks.

I hope this helps!
