Faculty housing is located in the South Sector, a secure area of the campus reserved for faculty and senior staff, just adjacent to KFUPM Square. As a single female typically assigned to single occupancy apartments in older student‑building renovations designated for unmarried faculty. I recommend you to check for something private if you can afford the rent.

Do you have any idea about these single faculty apartments, which are renovation of student buildings, if they have what is necessary as a private kitchen, a small living room and bathroom, that would be enough for me. Why do you recommend to check something private? Are these accommodations so small or not adequate? Thanks in advance for the infos.

Is it possible for the university to answer these questions, along with providing pictures and a floor plan?  Has the university designated someone else on foreign faculty to be a liaison that answers quality-of-life related questions prior to you signing on/ your arrival?

I think that some form of floor plan and photos would be most helpful to you at this juncture.
