Living in Ar'ar

TurkeyMT

Saudi Arabia is hard to deal with, no matter religion. There are no parties, no compound (just one small building surrounded by a wall and barbed wire), no decent shopping, no place to walk from the living arrangements, for women it's horrible (rules about covering hair and face is STRONGLY encourage, whereas places like Riyadh it is not), poor internet reception, etc.

If you work in Saudi Arabia (which is a great experience in so many ways) don't make it harder, and don't get ripped off, by going to Ar'ar. There are so many other cities that are nice, have a large compound with a pool and other entertainment, is more liberal, etc. For instance, Jeddah is ocean-view and Hail has a beautiful compound.

The management is also sketchy but that may be everywhere.

If I meet male staff from my department and say Hi to me in the place like the mall. I don't like to answer because who's know some religious police is around and mistaken I flirt with him. I don't want trouble.
