VISA requirement of new born baby from Pakistan to KSA

ehassan

Better call the embassy in Pakistan to make sure what I said is still valid.

BTW, you should be your wife’s sponsor (kafeel). This is mandatory if the case I mentioned still valid. If your wife has her standalone Iqama and her kafala on some other company, you can’t do it

I brought 2 of my newborn kids to KSA with on arrival visas (Pakistan Passport each time). First one from Pakistan in 2015 when he was 2 months old. No problems from Pakistan. The staff knew about this rule and they allowed us to board after sending a message to Jeddah Airport. Jeddah airport stamped passport on-arrival, no questions asked. 2nd baby in 2018. At 2 months. This time I was travelling from Pak to UK and then KSA. For UK to KSA trip, Hathrow immigration were not allowing travel to KSA without Iqama. Me and my wife were about to give up when I asked one of the staff to send email to Jeddah airport (as per my previous experience). Jeddah airport promptly sent a reply back saying the baby is allowed without Iqama if he's less than 3 months old, at which we were allowed to board.

No problems at Jeddah airport in both cases. They knew the process. They stamp border entry number (3 months validity) on baby's passport and let you go. Then you can use that Border Entry Number within 3 months to apply for Iqama.

So its the departure airport you have to worry about. If they know about the rule they will let you go otherwise ask them to send a message to respective KSA airport and you'll be fine. Unfortunately I have lost the copies of Jeddah Airport Emails (Departure Airport gives it to you as a reference). Otherwise I'd have provided them to you.

"Me and my wife both are having valid IQAMA(residential permit) of Saudia. My wife(in Islamabad ,Pakistan since oct 2022 having exit re-entry VISA of six months) delivered second baby in Pakistan and now she want to return back alongwith newly born baby to Saudi Arabia. As per Saudia immigration they are issuing VISA to newly born at the time of arrival. So kindly confirm that only passport of newly born baby will be enough at Islamabad airport immigration at the time of departure to Saudia.
Note also, newly born baby will also have CRC(B-form from NADRA), Birth certificate from Union council, Birth certificate from hospital at the time of departure to Saudia."

Ignore the email from GDP, it applies to normal individuals to enter and exit the country.

As your case is specific, your child is eligible for on arrival visa as your wife possess E/R visa and valid iqama.
