Dependent Iqama Renewal over age of 18

am482

Hello, I am not sure if this is the right place to ask this question but please help me out.

I want to ask how can I renew my son`s Iqama now that he is over 18. When my son turned 18 I got Letter from school and the iqama got renewed however my son has graduated from school and going to university soon but the problem is my son`s university (abroad) is going to start 1 month after his Iqama expiry so I cant get letter from university so what am I supposed to do in this situation?

My son is 19 years old right now, and since the Iqama is not expired yet I am not sure if they are going to ask for a letter that he is a student. But in case they ask what should I do?

@am482

It happens to me,  log in to absher and go to  residence services and apply for dependent separation. Normally they will ask for school documents but you and your son's passport copy and iqama is enough for the upload. Then pay for the services via bank, at the moment March 11, 2025 the payment is 1000 SAR. Take note you must apply it now while your iqama is still valid, otherwise your company can't renew your iqama.
