Resignation during the probation period

yuliakrasotulia

hey all please we need any help

me and my friend we came to work here in one company which has a branch of restaurant and cafe shops. we signed a job offer in our country and arrived here with a business visa (which is not allows to work as we know) but our empleyee told us we will transfer this visa to iqama and work visa after ending of probation period (3 months). now is our third month going to an end and we want to resign becasue our expactations about the job and the company were not justified. and plus to that they didnt pay half of our salary and they want take all exspenses from us (for visa, tickets, unifiorm and accomodation). so the question is can we go to the Ministry of Labor if we dont have iqama or work visa? basically we are not legal to work here, so is there anyhow we can take our money back or its all hopeless?

No you can't do anything against them.
But you can contact to some other company and they can take you in as you have that business visa.
And you must visit your embassy also, they will help you.

It seems the employer is not obligating  your work contracts. You need inform them in writing about discontinuation from service,  he has option to extend probation period to more 3 months. At the end it depends on your choice to continue or discontinue service. Take opinion from your embassy also.
