2. It's done online on your valid passport with a validity of 60 days on final exit visa.
1. Final exit is done online it is not linked to bank account closing. End of service benefits are transferred to bank account, with exit visa you can withdraw amount if you want to do remittance to your country, banks ask a formal letter in such cases.After adjusting outstanding loans or credit card or car leasing linked to bank if any, the remaining amount is returned.
Generally account remains dormant for a period of 3 to 4 months after exit and closed later on.
