Pending for notice period completion

Please someone clarify me this. I am transferring to a new company. I already accepted the request of my new company in my qiwa and it says "Pending for notice period completion and there's a countdown on the bottom it says 83days". I asked my old employer regarding their acceptance but they said there is no request from the system.
Its been a week now since we made the request, is this normal? Should I wait for 83days? I'm worried because my iqama will expire on August 12.

Same with everybody. Theres completion of 90 days. Which we dont have any option but to wait. Since qiwa is updating every week. So lets see

As per my HR information, your current employer can reduce the notice period time period or else you have to wait until the completion of notice period. I also have the same situation.

Current employer will do their thing to burden their employee, and most of their reason is that they haven't receive notice where in fact they did, only that they do not want to take actions over it. Lucky enough if we find current employer that are supportive and understand the system. However, you can still request to your current employer to lessen the 90 days as they are the only one who has the right to do it or modify. Otherwise, waiting of 90 days will matter. That if your new employer can wait for you on that period.
