Yes. I did it yesterday.

Are you sure, His Bachelor Degree is not attested.
Whether he will face any issue while changing the profession.  His current profession is Electronic measuring Technician.

XTang

SOCPA verifies the degree on their own.  You pay 500 for this verification.  If he is otherwise eligible for SOCPA membership, he can register with a different profession and when membership is changed to Associate (i.e. qualification verified), you can try to change profession.  Can even try before but if SOCPA rejects the membership then you are stuck.

Okay, Thank you very much for the information.

If SOCPA approve, do we have to attest the certificate to change the profession to accounting.

Hi ratheesh. No need to attest the certificate, they will check and verify your documents. If you register to socpa, you will pay Sr 840 which includes Sr 500 for verification of your credentials. In my case, I've waited 3 to 4 months before they change my status from Temporary Accounting Technician to Active Associate Member.

Dear,
My profession is marketing executive but working as Financial Analyst. I have attested degree already. Can i register for SOCPA with my current profession? After getting membership i need to apply for change of profession is better or applying before getting membership? If I get membership and unable to change profession is there any problem from SOCPA?
