Hi all, my iqama was expired about 2years, and my kafil didn't want to renew it, and I was stuck there for about 2 years just waiting hope, fortunately last month the government offered an opportunity for the families who are in Saudi Arabia illegally to go out for 2months starting from June 2019, so I was trying to take that advantage I went to Jawazat to cancel my Iqama and they told me that they can't cancel unless I bring the kafil and we take the permission from the kafil, and I called the kafil he told me that he couldn't do聽 because he was afraid that they will deport him as well since he doesn't have valid iqama as he prefers to stay there illegally, and he told me that he couldn't do that. So I am stuck again and I want some advices about my case, what shall I do? should I go back to Jawazat and tell them that my kafil didn't come ? or is there any other way that I can handle this situation. Your Kafil is your father?聽聽you are on a dependent visa?聽 I am surprised as to why he didn't renew considering it is your own family.

Go back to Jawazat but be aware that there is no way to fix it without either you or both you and your father leaving.
