Registration in SCE as an engineer?

Seeking clarification on registering as an engineer with SCE in Dammam? Find out if degree attestation from the Saudi Embassy is necessary here.

Please, can anyone confirm me that I need to get my engineering degree attested from Saudi Embassy and Saudi Culture office to register with SCE? I called their agent, and I've been informed that there is no need to attest them?

just upload your documents first and get your iqama renewed after getting registered with SCE and then get your certificates attested by saudi consulate and saudi cultural office in your home country as it takes 1-2 months for attestation from consulate.

Yesterday I applied, and today, they ask me to pay the fee for membership, which I did. They are still saying they need 30 days for verification then; why ask me to pay if they have not verified yet?. I understand the initial fee is non-refundable but is this membership fee also non-refundable?
