Moving to Jeddah with my family

Tommy Crofts

Good day to all you lovely people,

Within the next few months, myself my partner (not yet my wife) and our 3 year old daughter will be relocating to Jeddah from Cambridge, UK.

Ive been offered a job working for a very well known family to KSA, I have worked for this family around 4 years ago and have been offered a wonderfully opportunity to relocate.

Its well paid, our accommodation in a gated community (compound) is paid for, as is our healthcare and my daughters school fees. Plus a car for moving around . I will be flying in and out of Jeddah very often. I am very lucky

We have many questions that we would love to be answered buy anyone there in a similar position. For example, how safe is Jeddah for my family to reside and move around? We would love to find activities for our daughter such as dance classes, swimming lessons, soft play. What restrictions are there on females that impact everyday life (if any)? Are there lots of  °µÍø½ûÇøs whit whom my partner could make friends? Would it be easier if we were married before we came?

PLUS so many more ….

Thank  you for taking the time to read this!

jeddah is very safe city as most of Saudi Arabia cities.

and if you follow news about Saudi Arabia, now The situation is too much open for women freedom not as befor your partner can go out even without abaya ( traditional women cloths) but of course should wearing descend cloths .

and you can find all classes here for girl and women dancing, swimming and all you want.

and about you and your partner not married yet that will not cause any issues you will life normally but maybe will face one issue in government paper like visa and Iqama because you are not married that will make your paper processing separately not as like families

again welcome in Jeddah
