You can buy wine in Carrefour and Tamimi, in the chiller and juice sections. Look for 'Fre' and 'Vinola'.

Careful with the more illicit stuff though; you may find you get lashed in more ways than one.

No. It isn't the wine with alcohol; it's alcohol free, of course! You can't buy wine, legally, anywhere in this or several other countries.

And I wouldn't advise buying the illegal stuff, either. If you buy it you have to get it home, carrying it home with you can't be worth the stress that that'll put you through. I have heard of people on military bases making their own, apparently from readily available ingredients you can purchase in local shops. I have no idea if this is true, I am not condoning breaking the law (I would never break the law, not even speed by 1 mph on an empty road I know well, in the middle of the night, when it was dry and visibility excellent, and I have five empty lanes to choose from, and the local police are enjoying a Policeman's Ball on the other side of town), I would never drink myself and, in fact, I didn't write this post. Someone hacked my account and I'm asleep in bed, ready to be up at sunrise for a jog in the park.
